Dr. Eid is a Bariatric Surgeon who has been practicing medicine since 2012. He was employed by Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in 2020. Dr. Eid received his medical degree from the University of Balamand in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed a surgical internship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and general surgery residency at Ascension Providence Hospital, a Michigan State University affiliated hospital, in Detroit, MI. He then pursued fellowship training in both Bariatric and foregut surgery at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Eid is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Eid specializes in surgical treatments for morbid obesity, hiatal hernias, chronic reflux/heartburn, abdominal hernias, and complex abdominal wall reconstructions. Procedures offered by Dr. Eid are performed in a minimally invasive fashion (robotically or laparoscopically). Dr. Eid currently serves as the Director of the Cumberland Bariatric Institute and is a member of the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgeons. Current Bariatric procedures offered are Sleeve gastrectomy, roux en y gastric bypass, lap band removal, and revisional and conversion Bariatric operations.
Robin Goff, APRN specializes in non-surgical weight loss services. He has been employed by Lake Cumberland since 1997, starting at the hospital in the medical unit and transferring to Lake Cumberland Medical Associates in 1999. Robin has been with Cumberland Bariatrics since 2022. Robin earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2010, and his master of science in nursing from EKU in 2014.
Myra Frye is the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Coordinator at Lake Cumberland. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2005 with a bachelors of science in Nursing. Myra has been with Lake Cumberland since 2007, starting her career in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit and transferring to bariatrics in 2016.
